Paperwork is a collaboration between Cindy Yiin and Kathlyn Kao centered around the question:
what is a radical practice that considers paperwork as site?

Through research on the process and output of paperwork, we investigate the bureaucratic and legal methods of territorial governance to understand their spatial implications and the lived responses that encourage, resist, challenge, or subvert them. Across scales of the inscription, the hand, the tool, the desk, the office, the municipality, and the state, we work to unlearn traditional practices and reframe spatial and material priorities.
